We went down to Mesquite today to do a workout. Luckily, I was allowed to go. The workout was 3xMile with 6x100 with 4 min. rest in between and the pace range was 5:35-6:05. I was pretty scared/nervous for this workout since I haven't done one in a while and I feel out of shape.
Mile 1: 5:45
Mile 2: 5:55
Mile 3: 6:04
I did 2x100 but my knee started to act up so I stopped. I was pretty upset with the times and that I was last but I have to be patient.
Really upset. We ran up at the "C" which is at 10,000ft elevation. I felt like shit and my knee started hurting. Clinton stopped me and in the van he told me that I should do just 3 miles tomorrow and do pool workouts. I will probably add on miles in addition to the 3.
Form mile at 6:57 pace. Then we did 6 miles of the famous "Feerrrrm Run" (Farm) because there was a huge wind storm and for the farm run you only have to go one way with the wind.
